°jark has been removed from his position as admin here at Deviantart, the site/community he has worked so hard on effectively creating and making it a warm place to stay. First °matteo was cast out and now °jark , the founders have fallen and all at the whim of $spyed, but thats almost all we know since there has been a silence from those high up on the ladder.

It seems that no answers will be given to the deviantart community anytime soon. °jark has been usurped from his position as admin and many other staff members have resigned. It seems the hierarchy of dA as in turmoil while a handful of people know why. There can be many reasons that the truth has not come out, the most reasonable one being the NDA (non-disclosure agreement) that each staff member signs. If thats the case at least $spyed can come out and say that so we as a community can hear some sort of official word on this.

Instead of coming out and saying what the hell is going on around this place, dA is forced to hear news from people that actually have care for the community and a spine to support them. To counteract some of these efforts of explaining what has happened, a journal gets deleted. The writer of this journal did not do it himself so who else would do such a thing? A policy at dA is not to delete deviant page comments or things that don't violate rules and such, but under the new $spyed administration things just magically disappear. If the leader of this community can not follow the rules he himself has, what kind of example is he setting.

Paying money for some features on this site every three months has proved to be a worth while investment. Now that some things are happening that seem they shall change the direction and face of deviantart, id like so much as a newsletter or statement even if it took five minutes to write.

Being new compared to alot of people that have seen Deviantart progress it comes to my attention i missed out on what some say was a "COMMUNITY" feeling. Still in my time here I've noticed things that have changed all in the way of making money. Ads on your page to subscribe, maybe I have a bad memory but that wasn't always there. Be generous buttons on non-subscriber pages, more like a feed Angelo button. I also remember the latest time Angelo went on g4-tech tv. I remember after watching it he was all about page views and how to market deviantart. No mention of writing was made on the show, since hey that makes no money. When talking about artists and the site he had lots of detail in rank of this artist over all of dA and how many people use and visit the site. Sounds like a commercial to potential business that wants ads to me.


To bring back °jark the yellow alien, talks from doing nothing to pulling your devs from your gallery have been heard. But, what help will having him back be if he or any other person on this site can just be betrayed in such fashion. Many people are standing up to say this is not right, even though we don't know what went on for sure, the firing of °jark in such a disrespectful manner is an atrocity that can not be tolerated. Staff members that have resigned have showed integrity and honesty in the matter, they stress how they as well shall stick by the community As society we will stick by °jark and we will stick by our community.

This Quote seems to say what $spyed (Angelo) has in store for Deviantart and how he views it. First off he says "His web site", seems like a power trip to me. Second he calls dA a business before calling it a society and its obvious thats how he views it.

Devaintart will no doubt continue on but what will it look like. Deviantart shall head full throttle in the direction of money and more money. Shall this bring greater features for the people of dA? I think it will, if you are willing to pay a subscription fee that will probably end up being higher then it is at the moment. More ads shall be sprawled across dA in hopes to get a dollar, a euro, a yen or whatever it may be out of your pocket.

It seems to me that he has had a lack of time to meditate on this since he follows through on none of this. I took the brief time to write him a new one

$spyed is the head of this community and has the say in what happens. Yes he is doing what he thinks is best for the progress of all of us here. In the end though can a man that cant tell someone hes fired really be the head of deviants, only time will tell.

You may not of had the guts or the audacity to tell °jark hes been fired, but I hope you say something soon becuase theres alot of people that have things to say to you no matter how much power you may have.
